AAA Constituted National Award For Arts In The Name OF Former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee

In a board meeting of AAA- Asian Academy of Arts a joint decision was taken to constitute and launch a prestigious and a powerful award for the promotion of art and culture after the name of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.

“An Award will be called Atal Behari Vajpayee National Award For The Promotion of Art And Culture to be given to all those who have contributed for the promotion of art and culture. This is the first of its kind in the country to mark respect to the great poet and statesman of the Republic of India,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts.

    

A poster was launched and all the members present there wrote their remarks on this historical day of constituting this esteemed award. A series of remarks were recorded to keep in the archives of the Academy.

Atal Behari Vajpayee was an Indian politician who served three terms as the Prime Minister of India. He was a member of the Indian Parliament for over four decades, having been elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house, ten times, and twice to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house.

He was conferred India’s highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna, by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee in 2015. The administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared in 2014 that Vajpayee’s birthday, 25 December, would be marked as Good Governance Day.

“Today we are feeling elevated on announcing this award after the name of Atal Behari Vajpayee. The Asian Education Group, Marwah Studios and all the hundred organizations associated with us will work for this prestigious award,” added Marwah remembering the quotes of former Prime Minister.

The award ceremony will be the part of most popular Global Literary Festival Noida. The first edition of awards will be handed over during the 4th edition of Global Literary Festival, which has emerged as the second biggest literary festival of the country.
